Welcome to the Community Improvement of Algoma Website!

Imagine all the fun things that you can do on your visit to Algoma ... fishing, boating, biking, hiking, camping, shopping, lounging on the Lake Michigan shoreline, and dining.  There is something to do every season of the year.

Winter:  cross country skiing, snowmobiling, ice fishing, snowshoeing, eagle watching, and migratory duck viewing.

Spring:  migrating bird season, early season fishing,  viewing the cherry blossoms, and the annual Bird City celebration,

Summer:  Lake Michigan cool breezes, warm beach sands, camping, hiking, biking, kayaking and canoeing on the Ahnapee River,   fishing,  summer concerts, and Shanty Days

Fall:  gorgeous fall colors, driving trips, pier fishing, running of the salmon, and Wine Fest
